Our Company History

McKinley Facility Maintenance is a division of McKinley Equipment Corporation that is focused on retail store maintenance and multi-site industrial location maintenance. McKinley FM is extending the brand of McKinley Equipment while maintaining the culture for which it is known – one that is synonymous with honesty, reliability and quality.

Our Company Timeline

1948 – McKinley Equipment is founded in Los Angeles, California
1953 – Kelley Company distribution agreement is signed for loading dock equipment
1955 – Installation Service added as an offering
1960 – “Servicing of All Brands”, not just what we sell
1972 – Headquarters moved to Irvine, California
1976 – Material Lifts (VRC’s) introduced as a major product line (Pflow Industries)
1980 – Door Service and Installation added as an offering
1983 – High Speed Doors introduced (Kelley Company)
1985 – Mechanical & Hydraulic Expertise becomes the company’s new focus
1989 – Handicap & Accessibility Lifts introduced as part of the product line
1994 – Fx Air Dock Levelers introduced (Kelley Company)
2000 – Home Elevators become a major new product
2002 – First retail store maintenance customers
2005 – McKinley Elevator becomes a separate company to better serve the ADA lift market
2014 – McKinley Facility Maintenance division formed
